The Healing Power of Music
Music is a powerful, ancient tool for healing that is being
rediscovered today. Debbie will talk about her journey with the
Shakuhachi flute. She will discuss her time in Japan, studying with a
Master there, and will also talk about her personal
journey and her discovery of the amazing healing properties of her Shakuhachi.

A Shakuhachi and voice meditation will be offered. The Shakuhachi's
revitalizing and powerful sound vibrations lead to a
relaxed meditative state where healing can take place. No previous
experience with a formal meditation technique is
required by the participants; simply listening with an open heart to
healing music is in itself one of the oldest forms of meditation.

Refreshments will be served and guests are invited to stay and chat
after the meditation.
